At Nottingham Trent University we value our reputation for ethical behaviour by conducting all business with integrity, transparency and fairness. We recognise the importance of fostering a positive culture of tax compliance within the University and its subsidiary companies in order to maintain the confidence of the many institutions with which it does business.

We do not and will not engage in business with any individual or organisation who do not share our values and commitment to preventing the facilitation of tax evasion, in compliance with the Criminal Finances Act 2017.

Trade Union Facility Time – Reporting Requirements

Section 13 of the Trade Union Act 2016 introduced a new requirement to publish data on facility time afforded to Trade Union representatives in ‘public sector organisations’ including HEI’s in England and Scotland. In accordance with these requirements, the University’s position is stated in the facility time reporting requirements. This also forms part of the wider reporting by the Cabinet Office.
